The Scott Composite Squadron and Group 1 HQ has moved to a new facility, Building 3171 on Scott AFB. This was the former temporary Fire Station.

Change of Command.
Maj John Brendel stepped down after 3 years as Commander of the Scott Composite Squadron. Maj Carol Hertel was installed as Commander in a ceremony at the Squadron HQ, Col Gordy Larson, Illinois Wing Commander officiated.
Maj Brendel was praised for his outstanding leadership and dedication, he was presented with a plaque and a CAP Achievement Award by Group 1 Commander Lt Col Paul Hertel. The Cadets presented him with a American Flag.
