It’s Scott Air force Base Open House time!  19 and 20 Sept 2009.

Duties for CAP during the open house will be the same as last year except we will have to  have cadets man Cadet Kyle and assist with a DDR event.

Like last year, there'll be breakfast and "dinner" (Heavy Hors d’oeuvres, Friday, Sat and  Sun.) provided by the air show sponsors. 

Meal tickets for lunch were requested.  Billeting will be at the Scott Composite Squadron.  Showers are being worked.

Some of us will be at Hanger 1 for information booth set up and aircraft parking Friday afternoon approximately 1400. 

Show times for breakfast Saturday and Sunday are 0600.

Please contact me with your intent to attend with what times and dates you are available. 

Cadets if you want to attend let your parents, commander and myself know. 

Transportation at Scott AFB will be provided as needed.  Transportation to and from Scott AFB is on your own.

DIRECTIONS TO SCOTT AFB
Scott AFB is located by Shiloh, Illinois and is approximately 19 miles east of St. Louis
By Auto:
From Interstate 64 take exit 19 towards Shiloh and follow the signs to enter through the Shiloh Gate.

From Illinois Route 161 the base is located between Belleville and Mascoutah where you can enter through the Belleville Gate.

By Metro Link (highly recommended):
You can take the Metrolink to the Shiloh-Scott station where buses will take you to the Air Show area of the base. Normal Metrolink and bus fees apply.
