Group 1 had its Annual Awards Banquet, February 2 at the Scott Air Force Base, Consolidated Open Mess.

The keynote speaker was USAF Brigadier General (Ret) Brad Baker

General Baker was a cadet member of the St. Charles Missouri Composite Squadron during his high school years. He earned his Earhart Award and was a Cadet LtCol. General Baker also served as the Deputy Commander of Cadets at the McGuire Composite Squadron at McGuire AFB, NJ from 1977-1980.  General Baker is a former 375^th Airlift Wing Commander at Scott AFB.
