The official meetings will launch on Saturday morning with a General
Session followed by a number of informative break out sessions. A buffet
luncheon is a part of your registration investment.
On Saturday evening there will be a banquet honoring American Military
Veterans. Our keynote speaker is
L. Tammy Duckworth,
an Army helicopter pilot who was severely wounded in Iraq. Two years ago she
ran for Congress. She is now the Illinois Director of Veteran Affairs.

This year we attempted to attract cadet participants to the
conference. Unfortunately, our experiment was not a success and very few
cadets have registers, so far. Great Lakes Region is offering a discount of
$25.00 to be applied against the conference registration fees for up to forty
cadets. Visit the Conference website for registration forms. The low cadet
turnout has resulted in the curtailment of cadet break out sessions. If cadet
enrollments increase, we have the staff in place to add cadet oriented
programming.
The uniform of the day for the conference will be:
Meetings: Dress blues, blazer combo, aviator shirts, civilian business
meeting attire
Banquet: Mess Dress, formal wear, blazer combo with jacket, civilian
business dress attire
